We were very excited to be commissioned to design the cassette album cover for Leftover, a talented emo post-hardcore band from Malang, Indonesia. Designing the cover of their first album, Mistake I Need to Make, offers us a chance to explore new ideas. Their EP, Better Left Unsaid, speaks about the struggle of youths—the wasted love, goodbyes, failures, and all that jazz—in honest lyrics. After hearing the tracks, we suggested a concept that could resonate and amplify their progressive but distortive music.
