Karat Album Art

Orkha were commissioned to design an album art and cover for Karat (formerly Karat Metal), a Malang-based metal core band. Karat’s ‘Elegi’ was Orkha’s very first time to work on an album art project. Through this challenging project, Orkha has gotten the chance to explore more elements to showcase. We thereby develop the album art by deriving the nuance evoked by the word ‘elegy’, and underline the somberness in the dominance of solid black.
